Hello, thanks for your visit, and I want to answer your question here.
Of course it is hard to get to know someone and so it will be the same for politicians, but the fact is, do we still care about such things? Do we ask those questions to ourselves?
If we don't even ask the questions, if we don't care to know, we hardly will find the answer ;-)
That was my point. We do not seem to care anymore. In Italy for example we vote because they are left party, or right party, not because we know they are honest, caring, responsible.
I know that the system is built as to not give us a choice, but it is also because we do not care so much anymore.
Just a couple of thoughts on the matter :-)

i must be very old type of creature. in the past, diary was very private. so private even mom can not read.

in most cases of your blog. the personal story invite comment, mostly from those from opposite sex, request for bigger photograph, email addres, closer relationship..

unles the invitation is unrealize but intended..... it your life anyway

it's your life anyway, but you could not blog the story of your life that could hurt your fam. Sometimes I didn't understand when I read your blog, especially articles you should wrote in your private diary. but it's your life anyway.
